Gunman pretended to be customer before robbing store

HOUSTON – Police are putting out a renewed call for help in finding a man who they said held up a clothing store weeks before Christmas.

Police said the man entered the store in the 11800 block of Bissonnet Street on Dec. 10 and first pretended to be a customer.

Moments later, he approached an employee, flashed a gun in his waistband and threatened to kill her, according to police.

After forcing the employee to the front of the store, he took off with an unknown amount of cash, police said.

The gunman was caught on store surveillance video. He's described as a black man, about 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 160 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt, white pants and a white beanie.
