Prostitution arrests made in Spring area

HOUSTON – A wide-scale crime initiative netted several prostitution arrests in the Spring area.

Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman announced the arrests at a press conference Thursday afternoon.

Herman said the investigation began after police received complaints from concerned citizens. 

Precinct 4 deputy constables launched an undercover operation in the area of FM 1960 and I-45 North Freeway in order to arrest 'johns' -- the men who pay for prostitutes.

"The areas targeted by constable investigators in this operation were in close proximity to schools, day cares and churches," Herman said.

The following 16 men were charged with prostitution:

  • Martin Howard Wallen, 40, also charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon
  • James Montryond White, 39
  • Victor Manuel Canchola Morales, 22
  • Gino Farias Ramirez, 24
  • Odili Jideofor Omekam, 23
  • Khadeen Imani Wagner, 25, also had four outstanding warrants
  • RF Finch III, 37
  • Julio Cesar Casillas, 35
  • Samuel Deshon Holmes, 26
  • Juan Carlos Valladares, 46
  • Ricardo Quevedo, 32
  • Aaron Stephenson, 27
  • Meshone Henry Feltus, 28
  • Lederris Gibbs, 26.
  • Jose Martinez, 31
  • Ricardo Douglas, 34
