HOUSTON - Volunteers are making major progress in northeast Houston where a family's brand new home is being built.

Local 2 has teamed up with Houston Habitat for Humanity and Star Furniture to build a home for a very deserving mother and her four children.

There has been a great deal of progress in a short amount of time.

On Wednesday, volunteers from Noble Energy helped with construction on the four-bedroom, two-bathroom house for the Hudson family.
