Texas Gov. Abbott to seek second term in 2018

SAN ANTONIO – Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Friday said he will seek a second term during the 2018 gubernatorial election.

The Republican made his announcement at Sunset Station in San Antonio.

Abbott said he aims to cut taxes, reform state agencies and continue his efforts to strengthen the Texas-Mexico border.
