HOUSTON - Houston police are searching for one woman after a bar fight and a hit-and-run outside a southwest Houston bar early Sunday morning.

According to police, a fight broke out inside Carrington's Sports Bar at Westridge and South Main. The fight then spilled out into the parking lot.

Investigators said off-duty deputies working security at the bar used pepper spray on several women to break up the fight. They placed four of those women in the back seat of their cars.

The four women left the back seat and got into their own car and hit a woman involved in the original fight, detectives said. While speeding away, police said the driver slammed into a METRO bus stop bench.

The four women kept going, driving to an apartment complex also on Westridge, officials said. According to police, three of the women were arrested there. The driver was able to get away.
