SUGAR LAND, Texas - It's a trending crime that has many on alert: "jugging."

Police say that's when potential victims are followed home from banks and other businesses by thieves who think the victims are carrying cash.

The latest victim, according to police, is a Sugar Land man. Investigators say the man was followed home after stopping at a Chase Bank in Sugar Land.

The victim told police he had just pulled up to his mail box when he saw another car park behind him. Investigators say as the man was checking his mail the robber got out of the car, pulled out a gun and fled the area with the victim's brief case.

The victim wasn't injured in the ordeal.

So far police have not released a description of the suspect.
