Mercedes McDonald, 28, is believed to be one of the last people to have seen 58-year-old Tony Iwu alive.
Iwu was discovered dead in the back of a burning truck on March 5, 2016, in the 5000 block of South Acres Drive, Houston police said. McDonald is believed to have assisted her co-defendant Jason Gates in the robbery, assault and murder of Iwu in the 5800 block of Schevers Street.

McDonald is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Her hair may be worn in braids or cut short, police said.
