Police search for 3 men accused of armed robbery

HOUSTON – Officers are searching for two men accused of robbing a north Houston convenience store at gunpoint last month, according to the Houston Police Department.

Investigators said a group of armed men entered a store May 31 shortly before 10 p.m. in the 2200 block of Parker Road and pointed their weapons at the clerk. Police said the men told the employee if he averted his eyes, they wouldn't shoot him.

Officers said the men took money from the cash register before running away on foot.

Investigators described the group as one Hispanic and two African-American men.
