Police: Road rage leads to fatal crash

HOUSTON – A woman was killed in a crash that may have been caused by road rage, police said.

Houston police said the driver of a gold car, believed to be a Mustang, hit his door on a black Acura in the parking lot of the Walmart store on Dunvale near Westheimer on Thursday morning.

The people in the two vehicles got into an argument, police said. The two drivers then headed eastbound on Westheimer and the driver of the gold car swereved toward the Acura, as if he was going to hit it, investigators said.

The driver of the gold car threw a bottle at the Acura, but missed it, officials said. He then threw another one that hit it, and the driver of the Acura lost control and swerved into a pole.
