Metro police officers are asking the public for information about a man who robbed a woman's purse last month.
Police said the robbery happened around 5:45 a.m. on May 2 while the woman was waiting to catch a train in the 4600 block of Harrisburg Boulevard.

Police said the woman was leaning against a fence with a purse strapped across her body. A man approached her and grabbed the purse, causing the strap to hit her nose and her wrist to hit a fence.
The man ran away with the purse.
Police are describing the robber as a black man with a goatee who was wearing glasses and an earring in his right ear.
He is around 6 feet tall and weighs around 140-160 pounds.
Officers said he was wearing a baseball cap, a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark shorts.
He was seen driving an orange Hyundai Santa Fe or Tucson.
Crime Stoppers is offering an award for information on the man.
