Police: Man steals several items from Bucee's in Wharton

HOUSTON – Police are looking for man they said stole several items from a Bucee’s in Wharton.

It happened Jan. 18 around 5:30 at the convenience store in the 10000 block of US Highway 59.

According to police, a white man wearing a a company uniform, that included black pants, gray shirt, orange safety vest and a Browning ball cap entered the store and took several items from the shelves and concealed them.

The man then pulled up to a fenced in secured area of the store in a white Ford single cab flatbed truck. He exited the truck, removed the locs from the gates, and backed into the secured area and loaded a fire pit and a barbecue pit onto the back of the truck.

The thief left Bucee's and did not pay for any of the items.
