HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death in northeast Harris County.
According to authorities, a call came in around 3 a.m. Tuesday that a man had been found dead in the road near Battlebell Road and Edith Street in the Highlands area.
The victim, believed to be in his late 50s, was found dead at the scene, police said.
Neighbors told KPRC2 they knew the men who lived in a trailer near where the shooting happened, and they had seen people coming in and out of it for a while.
One person is in custody, but there is no word on how he is connected to the incident.
Officers are still investigating the scene.
