At 9:39 a.m., the chase ended at a gas station at the intersection of North Main and North Freeway Service Road.

Two people got out of the vehicle with their hands raised and were taken into custody.

Police said the driver took off because he believed he had a warrant for his arrest, but he did not. Police said the driver called a family member during the 20-minute chase, and the family member convinced him to pull over.

The driver and passenger will both face felony evading and drug charges for the narcotics they threw out the window.
