HOUSTON - Two juveniles are recovering after police say they caused a three-car pileup in northeast Houston.

It happened Monday around 11 p.m. near the intersection of Mount Houston Road and Mesa Drive.

According to Houston police, the young people were driving westbound on Mount Houston and swerved out of their lane.

They then slammed head-on into a pickup truck, causing a SUV to then rear-end the pickup, police say.

No one was hurt in the collision.

The juveniles were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
