HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A person was hit and killed by a vehicle in North Harris County on Wednesday, according to authorities.
Detectives said the person was hit by a car around 9 p.m. near Aldine-Bender Road and the Hardy Toll Road.

Officers responding to the scene said the victim was unconscious and wasn't breathing.
The person was flown to an area hospital where they were pronounced dead.
It's still unclear whether it was a hit-and-run or if investigators are questioning the driver of the vehicle that struck the person.
There was at least one car not far from the crash scene.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.
Possible witnesses were questioned at the scene.
