Pearland man added to Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list

Jerry Holmes is wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements

HOUSTON - A man who most recently lived in Pearland has been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is offering up to $3,000 in cash for the capture of Jerry Holmes.

Holmes, 42, is wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements, assault and bond surrender forfeiture.

Holmes ties to several Texas cities, including Pearland, Houston, Pasadena, Livingston and Shepherd.

He also has ties to Tulsa, Oklahoma, investigators said in a press release.

Holmes is 5 foot 9 and weighs approximately 220 pounds.

He has tattoos on his right arm, left leg and left hand; and a scar on his forehead.

Texas Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.

There are four different ways to provide anonymous tips:
·    Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
·    Text the letters DPS followed by your tip to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
·    Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
·    Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the "SUBMIT A TIP" link (under the "About" section in their Facebook page).
