PASADENA, Texas - Pasadena police said they have identified the hit-and-run driver who killed a bicyclist Sunday morning.

Henry James Vickers III 48, was riding his bike along Spencer Highway when a woman struck him with her vehicle. According to officers, instead of stopping and calling police, the woman took off.

During a vigil Monday afternoon, police informed the victim's family that the woman believed to be involved in the accident came into the department to speak with investigators. She was accompanied by an attorney.

Police questioned the hit-and-run driver before she left the station.

"Charges are still pending the outcome of the investigation," said Vance Mitchell, Pasadena Police Department. "We know that she was the driver behind the wheel. There is still other evidence we have to process."

Vickers leaves behind his wife and two young sons.
