Over $2,600 worth of baby formula stolen from Baytown Walmart

BAYTOWN, Texas - Baytown police are asking the public for help identifying several people being sought in a series of baby formula thefts.

The thefts have happened over the course of the last couple months from the Walmart in the 4900 block of Garth Road in Baytown, police said.

In the thefts, men look out for women, who enter the store with a baby stroller of baby carrier and diaper bags, police said.

The women load the diaper bags with baby formula and leave the store without paying, police said.

The Walmart has been targeted five times since January and police said the people have stolen over $2,600 worth of baby formula.

Police describe the thieves as Hispanic men and women, who have been seen on security cameras leaving the parking lot in a white, newer model Ford F-150 SuperCrew four-door truck with black rims.

The Baytown Police Department is asking anyone who may recognize the suspects or vehicle in this case to call it at 281-422-8371.
