VICTORIA, Texas – The congregation of a Victoria mosque destroyed by a weekend fire says it plans to rebuild immediately. It'll have over $1 million in community donations to help.
The Islamic Center of Victoria burned to the ground early Saturday morning. A nearby store clerk spotted the flames and alerted authorities.
No cause has been determined. The state Fire Marshal's Office and federal authorities are still investigating.
