Martinez and the two other administrators were removed from campus on Thursday.

There are no criminal allegations, according to HISD.

There were concerns about the treatment of teachers and public discipline, according Corina Ortiz with the Houston Federation of Teachers.

There were also reports of teachers being bullied, the association said.

Special Ed paperwork discrepancies were also an issue, according to HFT.

HISD released a statement that read, "The Northside High School principal and two assistant principals have been reassigned to off-campus, non-classroom duties. District leadership will work closely with the Northside community and the remaining campus leadership team to ensure there is no disruption to student learning as they prepare to start on Monday. An experienced, veteran administrator will be assigned to Northside while the district evaluates next steps."
