MARTIN COUNTY, Ky. - A Kentucky woman is recovering after spending days lost, alone and naked in the woods after escaping her rapist.
She was rescued Monday evening after Martin County residents heard her screams for help.
"I could hear the woman way back on top of the mountain hollering for help," Martin County Sheriff's deputy, Michael Housinger said.
The Magoffin County woman told Housinger she met a man from at a friends house late Thursday night and went for a drive. She says the man drove up to the mountain top and raped her.
She told deputies she ran away to escape and got lost in the woods. She was lost for more than three days, screaming for help, until Monday evening.
