ROY, Utah - Two people escaped with minor injuries after a fiery crash Tuesday involving a small plane and a car in Roy, Utah.
Police said the single-engine plane slammed into a car while making an emergency landing and burst into flames.
The crash happened shortly after the aircraft left Ogden-Hinckley Airport.
Emergency responders helped the 63-year-old pilot from the burning plane.
He was taken to a hospital. He is expected to be OK.
The driver of the car was taken to a hospital to be checked out. She is also expected to be OK.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash.
