FRIENDSWOOD, Texas - Someone got into a garage in the 1500 block of Frontier Lane and did some serious damage.  A 2006 Lexus that was parked there had a bottle of wood glue and bleach poured all over it.

"That's tearing up the chrome, it's all discolored," said Bill Mintor. "It's gonna be pretty major to fix."

Mintor estimates it could cost as much as $10,000.  The wood glue has seeped down into the window seams of the car and it will need to be stripped, cleaned and completely repainted.

Around the corner, a house in the 1500 block of Piney Woods Drive had their garbage cans set on fire.  A neighbor awoke to some flames and called the fire department.

Friendswood police said residents in the Wilderness Trails subdivision have been victimized, the crimes started occurring October 15 and so far homes on Buttonwood, Frontier Lane, Piney Woods Drive, Glenshannon Avenue, Oak Hollow and Applewood have been hit.

Most of the homeowners have had alcohol stolen from a garage fridge; others have had Halloween decorations destroyed.

"I had a lot of things that could have been stolen," Mintor said.  "But nothing was stolen except some alcohol out of my refrigerator."

Police believe the suspects going on this crime spree is a male who lives in the area.

"As a board member of our HOA it's something that we're seriously addressing," said Deborah Winters Chaney.  "We want neighbors to call the police if they see unusual activity or someone sneaking around."
