Motocycle racing lands man in hospital

HOUSTON - A man is recovering after crashing his motorcycle while racing two others on the highway.

Police say the three men were racing down Highway 288 on Saturday around 1:00 a.m.

One of the motorcycles drove into the back of the a car on the highway near Reed Road.

The man crashed and the bike burst into flames.

Police say the man was not wearing a helmet. He was transported to the hospital via LifeFlight in serious condition.

The driver of the car was not injured.
