MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – A Montgomery High School student was killed Friday morning after his motorcycle crashed into a vehicle on Highway 105.
According to DPS Troopers, Trenton Gene Fortune, 17, was traveling westbound on the highway around 6:33 a.m. and a woman was driving a car in the opposite direction. The woman was making a left turn onto Freeport Drive when Fortune's motorcycle struck her vehicle.
Fortune died at the scene.
The woman was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital. Her injuries were unknown.
Montgomery ISD officials said grief counselors would be on hand as long as the students need them.
