FONTANA, Calif. – Have you ever had a pizza so good, you wished it would never end?
Pizza fans in California got together and made a seemingly never-ending pizza and ended up setting a world record.
It may be the cheesiest world record ever.
Pizza pros and enthusiasts gathered at a California speedway in June to construct the longest pizza ever made.
The prodigious pie was cooked by conveyor belt and was 6,330 feet long -- more than a mile.
The previous pizza record was set in Italy last year, but fell to the fine folks in Fontana.
Guinness World Records was on hand to confirm the feat -- which was a success, any way you slice it.
