Men steal mail from USPS delivery truck in NE Houston

HOUSTON – A witness saw two men break into a mail truck and get away with some mail on Friday afternoon near Rebel Road. and Langly Road.

Houston police said several packages were taken.

The witness was at his grandmother's house when he saw two men wearing hoodies take the mail and leave in a silver Honda Civic with a third person driving. A passenger waved a gun at another neighbor who followed the thieves, according to the neighbor.

The United States Postal Service inspector was on the scene, but would not provide any other details.
