PEARLAND, Texas – When you're looking for someone to serve as grand marshal for your holiday parade, you look for someone who is a pillar of the community. Jim McIngvale, also known as Mattress Mack, fits the bill for the city of Pearland.
Pearland announced that McIngvale will serve as grand marshal for its 2017 Hometown Christmas Parade on Saturday.

Pearland's 36th Annual Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. This year's theme is "12 Days of Christmas," and the parade will travel east along FM 518 from Old Alvin Road to Pearland Parkway.
