Masked men rob clerk after crashing into east Houston gas station

Surveillance video captured crash and robbery

HOUSTON – Houston police are looking for a group of masked men who they say robbed an east Houston gas station after crashing a stolen truck into the store.

At around 4 a.m. Tuesday morning, police said four masked men rammed a truck into the Exxon gas station on Maxey Road near the East Freeway.

Surveillance cameras captured the moment of the crash, followed by the men rushing into the store and robbing the clerk before running away.

The crash left a mess inside and outside the store. Investigators hope to use fingerprints from the truck to find the men.
