Masked men burglarize jewelry store

ROSENBERG, Texas – Two men broke into a jewelry store and stole an entire case of expensive jewelry, investigators said.

Rosenberg police said the break-in happened at the Zales Outlet store in the 24700 block of the Southwest Freeway about 2:30 a.m. Friday

Investigators said the thieves used a crowbar to break through the store's glass door.

Surveillance video showed two masked men snatched a display case that was resting on one of the counters, police said. The jewelry in the main cases had been locked away for the night, investigators said.

Detectives said they do not know if the men may be connected to any other crimes.
