Marine helps young boy finish marathon in Michigan

A 19-year-old Marine became an internet sensation after lending a helping hand to a young runner.

Apparently the 9-year-old runner, Brandon Fuchs, got separated from his fellow runners, and asked Lance Corporal Myles Kerr to run alongside him in the Jeff Drench Memorial 5-K on Thursday in Charlevoix, Michigan. Kerr agreed and the two crossed the finish line around the 35-minute mark.

A photo of the two was posted on the Seal of Honor Facebook page and it has already collected more than 200,000 "likes."

Kerr says he appreciates all the nice comments he's received, but says he was "just doing what any man would do."
