HOUSTON – Harris County deputies are searching for the person who shot a man and woman in the middle of a street.
Deputies said there was some sort of disturbance on the Katy Freeway feeder road at Westgreen around 8 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies said the driver of one vehicle shot the man and woman, who were in another vehicle.
Harris County deputies say the woman was shot multiple times. The man was shot once. Deputies said the victims checked themselves into a hospital.
The woman was airlifted to Memorial Herman in critical condition. The man remains at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital in serious condition.
Deputies do not have a motive for the shooting.
Deputies describe the suspect vehicle as a dark-colored, four-door sedan.
