HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for the man they say robbed a beauty store at gunpoint on July 17.
Around 2:50 p.m. that day, a man entered the Beauty Mart at 806 Maxey Road, approached an employee while holding a handgun and demanded money from the register, investigators said.
Surveillance cameras captured video of the robbery.
Once the man got the money, he took the employee's iPad and left the shop, police said.
The man is described as being between 18 and 22 years old, about 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 170 pounds. He has a dark complexion and black hair, and was wearing a black cap, black shirt and red shorts.
