Man wanted in southwest Houston bank robbery

HOUSTON - A man robbed a southwest Houston bank on Wednesday, detectives said.

FBI officials said the man walked into the Chase Bank on Kirby Drive near West Alabama about 11:15 a.m.

The man handed a teller a note demanding cash and showed her a gun that was concealed under his shirt, investigators said.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber left the bank, detectives said.

The robber was described as black with a dark complexion, 30 to 35 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 to 170 pounds.
