Man wanted for shooting after METRO bus argument

HOUSTON – Houston police and Crime Stoppers are offering a reward for anyone who can help identify the man who they say is responsible for shooting another man on Oct. 8, 2016.

Around 6:15 a.m., police said the victim boarded a bus at Main St. and Murworth St.

The victim got in an argument with another man, police said.

Both men got off the bus at Main and Bellfort. The suspect pulled a gun from his backpack and shot the victim in the leg, police said.

The shooter is described as black, between the ages of 17-19, between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing a red T-shirt, green and blue jacket, black pants and black and red tennis shoes. He was also carrying a dark-colored backpack.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the men in this case.
