Man wanted for sexually assaulting child for 6 years

HOUSTON - Police are asking for help as they try to find a man who is wanted for sexually assaulting a child.

Authorities are searching for William Alexis Morales, 35. He is charged with the sexual assault of a child following the continuous abuse of a minor for nearly six years.

Officials said on August 4, Morales sexually assaulted a young girl in Houston.

Police said Morales abused the girl on a continuous basis from 2007 until 2013. 

Morales is a convicted sex offender. He was previously deported to El Salvador in 2006, but returned to the Houston area in 2007. 

Investigators believe Morales is working in the construction industry in the Galveston and Houston area and may be driving a black pickup truck. 

Officials said Morales has been known to use the alias Cristian Morales Hernandez.
