HOUSTON - Crime Stoppers is offering a reward in hopes of tracking down a man police say violently attacked a woman after a party.

Michael Cook, 30, is charged with assault with bodily injury against a family member. Police say Cook and a woman attended a party together in March 2014, and the woman became upset with Cook after learning he had a previous relationship with the host of the party.

During the drive home, Cook punched the woman several times in the face, giving her a bloody nose, police say.

That is not the first time he assaulted a woman and has a history of domestic violence, investigators say. Cook is also wanted in a 2012 incident where he fractured a woman's eye socket and broke her jaw, police say.

Cook is 6 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the filing of felony charges or arrest of this suspect, or other wanted fugitives.  Download Houston Crime Stoppers in the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store and the Blackberry App World.
