HOUSTON – A man was shot and killed early Sunday while visiting family friends, Houston police said.
Police were called to an apartment complex around 1 a.m. in the 9800 block of Forum Park near Sugar Branch drives for a report of shots fired.

When police arrived, they located the man who had been shot to death inside the apartment, police said.
At the time of the shooting, there were multiple people inside the apartment and they appeared to be family members, police said, though it remains unclear.
Some of those people had been taken in for questioning Sunday morning.
