Man sexually assaults, robs 65-year-old woman in SE Houston home, police say

HOUSTON – Police are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting and robbing a woman, 65, Thursday in her home in southeast Houston, officials said.

The incident was reported at 6:30 a.m. in the 7400 block of Cayton Street.

Houston police said the man walked into the woman’s garage and stole several items. Police said the man entered the woman’s bedroom and sexually assaulted her.

The man was captured on surveillance video as he left the home.

He is described as a black man, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, and weighing between 175 and 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and shoes.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the suspect’s arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call 713-222-8477.
