HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - A body was found in a wooded area near Westfield High School in north Harris County on Tuesday, according to officials.

Authorities believe it is the body of a man who was reported missing Monday. Family members of the missing man said he had not been heard from or seen for several days. He also had not reported to work. They suspected foul play.

Around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, the roommate of the missing man was seen driving the missing man's vehicle, authorities said.

Oscar Fermin Escobar Antunez was taken to the Harris County Sheriff's Office for questioning, where he confessed to killing his roommate and placing the body in a wooded area.

Antunez agreed to take investigators to the location.

When authorities arrived, remains of a man were found wrapped and buried in a wooded area near the 600 block of Willow Timber Drive and Ella Boulevard.

Antunez was charged with murder and was placed in the Harris County Jail.
