Man robs jewelry store at gunpoint

Zales on Tomball Parkway robbed Monday

HOUSTON – Deputies are searching for a man who robbed a northwest Harris County jewelry store.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said a man walked into Zales in the 22500 block of Tomball Parkway about 10:15 a.m. on Monday.

The man walked up to a display case, pulled out a gun, threatened employees and demanded jewelry from the case, investigators said.

Detectives said the employees put jewelry in a bag the robber brought with him.

The man walked out of the store and got into the passenger side of a gold, four-door Saturn.

The man was described as black, about 30 years old, 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 3 inches tall and 180 to 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a Chicago Bulls T-shirt, blue jean shorts, black tennis shoes and a Chicago Bulls cap.
