CEDARTOWN, Ga. – While other customers cringed, a Georgia man is being hailed a hero for his bravery when it comes to snakes.
Brandon Radke pulled a nearly 4-foot long rat snake from its hidden place inside the gas pump at a gas station in Cedertown.
As other customer looked on, Radke used his shirt and the pump nozzle to wrangle the non-venomous reptile from its warm hiding place.
Radke called the removal "no big deal."
He said he likes snakes.
Once the snake was removed, Radke took it to some nearby woods and released it back into the wild.
