HOUSTON – A man was killed Friday in a shooting in southwest Houston, police said.
The shooting was reported at 5:30 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Gessner Road.

Police said the man was shot in a possible drive-by shooting. Police said the man died on the way to a hospital.
The suspect fled.
Police are investigating the scene.
