Man killed in SE Houston shooting, police say

HOUSTON –

A man was killed Saturday evening in a southeast Houston shooting, police said.

The shooting was reported at 8:13 p.m. in the 8500 block of Broadway Street.

According to police, a teenager was seen arguing with a group of men near the intersection of Broadway and Rockhill streets. Police said the argument escalated and the teen was shot.

The teen stumbled into the grass in front of apartment complex and died, police said.

The victim's identity was not released.

Police are reviewing nearby surveillance videos for any leads on the alleged shooter.
