Man killed in crash on Old Galveston Road

HOUSTON – A man who was critically injured in a crash Sunday has died, officials said. 

Houston police said the 42-year-old man was killed in a crash around 4:40 a.m. Sunday at 12200 Old Galveston Road. 

Police said the man was westbound on Old Galveston Road when he was hit by a tan Ford F-150 truck. 

The man was taken by Houston firefighters to Clear Lake Regional Hospital where officials said he died Thursday. 

The man's identity has not been released and is pending verification by Harris County forensics. 

The driver of the F-150 truck has not been charged and the crash is still under investigation.
