HOUSTON – A man was found shot to death Sunday in a car at a west Houston apartment complex, police said.
The shooting was reported at 3:42 p.m. near the intersection of Ashford Point Drive and Dairy Ashford Road.

Houston police said a neighbor reported hearing an argument late Saturday followed by a gunshot.
Police said officers responded to reports of a shooting at the complex Saturday night, but were not able to find any evidence of a crime. Officers returned on Sunday afternoon when someone spotted the man's body in the vehicle and called police.
Investigators said it does not appear that the victim lived at the complex.
A gunman is not yet in custody, police said.
