HOUSTON - A man was found dead in White Oak Bayou near downtown.

Houston police homicide investigators responded around 11:50 a.m. Sunday to the block of 2200 South Street.

Police said when they arrived they found an older man in the middle of the bayou. They believe he was homeless.

There were no signs of trauma, police said. The man was naked and had no identifying information on him.

Investigators confirmed the body is not the missing 36-year-old man who was last seen kayaking in Buffalo Bayou Friday night.
