HOUSTON – An 89-year-old man shot and killed his caregiver Monday after he felt threatened and was allegedly being abused, Houston police said.
The shooting was reported at 3:55 p.m. in the 5000 block of Bataan Road.

Police said the 89-year-old man told them he was being abused by his 55-year-old caregiver and shot him.
Police said they found the 55-year-old man dead at the scene.
The victim's identity has not been released.
The shooting is under investigation.
