Cook then sped off and did a "doughnut" in the middle of the street before driving towards the officers, according to police.

Police said they ordered Cook to stop and he did, but he would not exit his car.

A police officer attempted to open Cook's door, so he sped off again this time leading police on chase through an apartment complex and then back onto FM 2351, according to authorities.

Police said they eventually blocked Cook in and he surrendered.

Cook was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on a public servant and evading arrest, according to police.
