HOUSTON - A man accused of punching a 73-year-old woman and stealing her money at a bus stop is on the run, police said.

According to officers, the incident happened last month near the bus stop in the 3600 block of Lyons Avenue and Gregg street in northeast Houston.

Officers said Tyrone Brown, 40, asked Catherine McDaniel for money to buy beer, but when she said she only had money for cat food, he followed her, hit her, and ran off with her purse.

Brown is charged with aggravated robbery. He has not been arrested.
